The Falcon Ma’an Plant was constructed by Enneray, which served as the first term O&M. MASE was mandated to operate and maintain the facility in May 2020 as the second-term O&M service provider, setting a local and regional market precedent for the involvement of specialized O&M firms in brownfield utility-scale solar PV plants.
At Falcon Ma’an, MASE carries out turn-key operations, maintenance and management services comprising preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance to ensure the plant’s long-term performance and optimal availability. MASE was selected by the plant’s developers, Catalyst Investment Management, as part of a competitive request for proposal process which also involved technical and commercial due diligence carried out by the project lenders (IFC) and their technical advisors.
