Azraq 5 MW Solar PV Power Plant
The Azraq 5 MW solar PV power plant is the first multi-megawatt power plant to be connected to the Jordanian national electricity grid and was commissioned in October 2015.
The plant comprises 4 MW of fixed-tilt PV installations and a 1 MW Single Axis Tracking installation. The project has been in development since 2009 and MASE’s role has been to advise the main EPC contractors in all aspects of the project’s development and implementation and subsequently providing local civil and electromechanical subcontracting and implementation services.
