We are expanding our Business Development team with a Lead position

MASE is looking to hire a Business Development Lead to join its team and work closely on current and potential projects, primarily in Jordan but also on potential projects across the region. MASE is a leading integrated player in the regional solar photovoltaic market focused on Development, EPC, O&M and Asset Management.

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for acquiring new customers and sell additional products or services to existing ones.

Job Description:

The Business Development Lead will work with MASE’s technical, operations and financial team across three primary responsibilities:

  1. Identifying new sales leads
  2. Pitching MASE’s key value proposition products and/or services
  3. Maintaining relationships with existing customers

The Business Development Lead will report directly to MASE’s Managing Director.

The successful candidate is expected to cover and demonstrate experience in the following duties:

  • Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
  • Preparing presentations and sales displays
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
  • Reporting to management
  • Comply with the company’s internal reporting requirements

Requirements:

  1. 2+ years of experience in business development or active sales position.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (or similar degree) or Engineering from a reputable university.
  3. Demonstrate interest and basic knowledge of renewable energy.
  4. Bilingual (Arabic and English).
